Plunge emerged from a hopeful perspective amidst a difficult period. When Michael's float spas were forced to close due to COVID-19 in March 2020, he used his newfound spare time to explore the available cold plunges in the market. To his surprise, he discovered that they were exorbitantly priced. With the assistance of his father, they set out on a mission to develop a more cost-effective alternative.
