The history of NH Hotel Group dates back to 1978, when the Ciudad de Pamplona hotel was opened as its first establishment. Expanding beyond the region of Navarra, the chain took its initial strides towards becoming one of Spain's leading hotel chains within a decade. This progress began with the inclusion of NH Calderón in Barcelona four years later, followed by the establishment of hotels in Madrid, Barcelona, and Zaragoza.
